On November 20 to 21 of 2007, ETSC participated in the International Photoelectron Expo (ILOPE 2007) in Beijing and obtained a complete success. The Expo focused mainly on the products displaying of five themes, including high-power lasers, Terahertz detection and imaging solutions, single-photon counting detection solutions, gas detection solutions, single-frequency narrow linewidth laser. The application scopes covered spectrum researching, fiber-optic communications, aeronautics and astronautics, quality testing, laser processing, bio-medical, information security, and other related fields.

In the Expo, our exhibition platform with unique personality design, over 20 world's leading products and the most sophisticated technology of ETSC had attracted many experts to consult. Those experts and scholars showed great interests in our products and consulted in details. High energy and high power lasers, THz imaging and detection and gas detection had attracted a lot of sights.

High energy and high Power Lasers, one of the 5 solutions showing, are mainly applied in industrial precision micromachining and scientific research. The lasers include Jade 2 10kHz 527 nm high power DPSS Nd:YLF laser; Saga/Gaia/Atlas 1.5J-50J@532 nm(527 nm)20ns high energy laser of Thales Laser. Thales Laser is a French company and belongs to Thales group, a Fortune 500 company.

THz imaging and detection solution are widely used in THz spectroscopy, THz imaging and detection, and THz space imaging and satellite communications. The solution includes: Firefly-THz nanosecond THz laser source of M Squared company, SPI-D-62THz detector of Spectrum Detector Inc., FFL-780 15mW femtosecond fiber laser of Precision Photonics Inc.

Gas detection solution can detect the various gas densities and leaking with laser spectroscopy absorption technique, which is widely used in coal mine,chemistry industry and environmental detection. The solution includes: NLK narrow linewidth diode laser of NEL company, Diode laser precision controller of ILX Lightwave Company.

At the same time,ETSC participated in the cooperation Forum of Asia-Europe photoelectric enterprises, negotiated with the exhibitors from Europe, and obtained cooperative intentions with some companies. The Expo had provided a good platform for technical exchange and trade.
